Scholarships for UW-Eau Claire students
Each year, through the generosity of alumni and friends, the UW-Eau Claire Foundation provides $2.5 million dollars for student scholarships. Here you can find out about those scholarships, the donors who make them possible, the scholarship requirements and the scholarship applications used to award those scholarships.
Most applications for continuing students at UW-Eau Claire become available in January for scholarships awarded the following September. Some applications are available at other times during the year.

Taking care of our own
Blugolds have a brighter future when their education is more accessible and affordable. Each year, generous donors provide funds for student scholarships and other direct student support through the Foundation.
Scholarships are awarded in various amounts and vary in criteria. Below are a few scholarships options that can greatly benefit deserving Blugold students.
Dollars for Blugold Scholars
Your gift of any amount to the Dollars for Blugold Scholars fund supports future Blugolds by providing financial support for the best and brightest incoming freshmen. Help make it possible for students who want to become Blugolds to attend college at UW-Eau Claire.
Blugold Promise Scholarship
Your gift of $4,000 can support a student for four years. Establish this fund in your name, or in honor or memory of someone you care about, and help a high-achieving student reach their individual goals.

Supporting Student Resources
Many exceptional resources contribute to Blugold success. From departments on campus that tailor their services to individual students, to facilities and funding that step in when students need them most. Blugold Emergency Support Fund
The Blugold Emergency Support Fund helps UW-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff in crisis or with urgent financial needs. Your gift can offer a helping hand to students when they need it most.
Career Services
Choosing a major and exploring various career paths, internships, graduate schools, and job searches are just a few of the services that Career Services provides. Your support of Career Services will help students explore and connect with their future endeavors.
McIntyre Library
Your support of the Library Advancement Fund supports projects that fall outside of the daily operation and academic activities of the library. The library staff relies on this fund to distinguish McIntyre Library as a place that provides services to enhance learning and caters to students' needs, in addition to being a rich resource for information.
University Honors Program
By making a gift of any amount to the University Honors Program Advancement Fund, you will help the University Honors Program achieve its vision to become a national leader in Honors Education and provide stimulating learning experiences to high-potential students.
Veterans Services
The Veterans Center was designed to help soldiers make an adjustment back to civilian life. The center provides a place for veterans to meet, a location for veteran support groups and an area to study. Your gift will enhance the center and the services provided to veterans on campus.
